Panasonic launches first 20-inch 4k tablet

Article: Prospero, Micheal. "Panasonic Launches First 20-inch 4k Tablet." Tech 9 Jan. 2014 Science online. web. 12 Jan. 2014{http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/panasonic-launches-first-20-inch-4k-tablet-2D11887844}
Panasonic has one of the highest-resolution tablets on market instead of Apple now. They have made a touchscreen tablet that has a 20-inch screen. The tablet starts at $5,999, that's enough money to buy 14 iPad Airs and have money left over.

The name of the tablet is UT-MA6. It has a magnesium alloy case and glass-fiber bezel back. From all the protection you are able to drop it from 2.5 feet. It weighs 5.6 pounds. It has 0.49 inches of thickness. It displays 16.5 million colors. A battery that is fully charged only lasts 2.5 hours. It has an optional 10 finger touch system.

I feel like this is one of the inventions that should have never been made. It is pretty much a TV but portable. This event does not effect me but it just makes me wonder why they wanted to make a tablet that big.

  1. I agree with what you said about the "why they wanted to make a tablet that big" thing. Its seem idiotic for a "portable" device to be that large. Doesn't that just ruin the point of it being portable? The way you presented the article was very nice as well. I enjoyed reading about this topic from your point of view.
